The Arizona Commission on the Arts provides assistance to individual artists through annual Artist Project Grants. Artists apply for project-related funding up to $5,500 for research and development leading to the creation of a work of art in any artistic discipline.

Applicants must propose a project or phase of a project that can be realized within the requested budget and proposed timeline. Individuals may only submit ONE application per year, but may be listed as a collaborating artist in multiple projects within the same year.
